“SAINTES, CHARENTE-MARITIME – A 32-year-old veteran triathlete is forced to suspend his season after a severe adverse reaction to the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Antoine Méchin received his first shot on June 28th and his second shot on August 16th. He suffered shortness of breath and low-back pain shortly after. Several tests recently showed that Antoine is suffering from pulmonary embolism as a result of the vaccines.
Following his first Moderna COVID-19 injection on June 28th, Antoine had difficulty breathing and pain in his left arm. 3 weeks after the first shot, during a trail race, he still suffered from the pain in the left arm and shortness of breathe explains Antoine in a Facebook post. The next day, on July 18th, after an examination at Saintes Hospital, doctors told him not to worry and that it was ‘stress’ and ‘fatigue’ causing his symptoms.
